Garage Door Before & After in Mission Viejo, CA

Talk is cheap in the garage door trade. We’d rather show you a torsion spring that broke clean through the coil than tell you the spring was “worn out.” Every job below closes with a documented photo record, so by the time our technician rolls off your driveway, you’ve seen the failed part, the fix, and the finished door. That’s the point of Clause 6 in The Haven Standard: evidence over enthusiasm. Marcus Deller, Owner of Servo Garage Doors Mission Viejo, has kept 18,000+ photo records since 2015. The gallery below shows what that looks like on real Mission Viejo doors.

Torsion Spring Replacement on an Aliso Creek Track Home

Before and after torsion spring replacement in Mission Viejo CA
Gallery placeholder: broken torsion spring removed vs. new spring installed on a standard two-car door.

The homeowner called at 7:20 a.m. because the garage door wouldn’t lift past the second panel. We found a torsion spring with a clean break at the center coil, measuring 0.25-inch wire diameter before it failed. We replaced the pair in under two hours, re-tensioned the shaft, and cycled the door 14 times to confirm balance. The before photo shows the break. The after photo shows a matched spring pair on a quiet, balanced door.

Overtraveled Opener and Bent Trolley Carriage on a Lake Forest-Style Roll-Up

Bent trolley carriage replacement before and after in Mission Viejo
Gallery placeholder: bent trolley carriage vs. new carriage with reset limit switches.

The opener ran, but the door traveled six inches past its limit and slammed into the stop bolts every cycle. That’s a limit switch failure. The constant slamming had bent the trolley carriage rail, so the chain was eating itself. We replaced the carriage, reset the up and down limits, and ran a full closing-force test under Clause 3 paperwork. The after photo shows the door stopping flat on the floor, not bouncing off it.

Cracked Sectional Panel Replacement on a Northwest Mission Viejo Home

Cracked garage door panel replacement before and after Mission Viejo CA
Gallery placeholder: cracked bottom panel on a four-section door vs. matching replacement panel.

A teenager’s rear bumper found the bottom panel before the brakes did. The panel was cracked through the stile, which meant the door couldn’t close square and the weather seal at the floor had a two-inch gap. We replaced the single panel on a Clopay four-section door, matched the paint grade, and reinstalled the bottom seal. The after photo shows a door that closes flush again. Total cost landed inside the standard $310 to $540 Mission Viejo panel replacement window.

Dead Logic Board on a LiftMaster Belt Drive Opener

LiftMaster logic board replacement before and after in Mission Viejo
Gallery placeholder: corroded logic board removed vs. new board installed and synced to remotes.

The opener had power, but the motor wouldn’t respond to the wall console or either remote. We pulled the cover and found a logic board with visible corrosion around the capacitor legs and a swollen relay. A new board cost less than a full opener replacement, so we swapped it, re-synced the existing LiftMaster remotes, and delivered the before photo of the corroded board. The after photo shows the new board mounted clean with the wire harness dressed back.

Full Door Replacement on a Canyon Crest Ranch

Full garage door replacement before and after Mission Viejo CA
Gallery placeholder: aged wood door with broken rollers vs. new steel insulated Amarr door.

The original door was a 1990s wood build with three broken rollers and enough sag to jump the track when it hit the opener’s mid-travel. We measured the opening at 16 feet wide, quoted the replacement with a written flat price, and installed a new insulated steel Amarr door with nylon rollers. The before photo shows the sag and the rusted track. The after photo shows a door that runs so quietly you can hear the motor idle.

Weather Seal and Track Alignment on a Stoneybrooke HoA Unit

Garage door weather seal and track alignment before and after Mission Viejo CA
Gallery placeholder: gapped bottom seal and misaligned track vs. new seal and aligned track.

The owner complained of daylight under the door and a grinding sound on the last foot of travel. We found the left track out of plumb by three-eighths of an inch and a bottom seal that had hardened into a plastic curve, common in Mission Viejo’s summer heat. We re-shimmed the track, replaced the seal, and photographed both. The after photo shows a clean line across the concrete and no daylight.
