The crew you’ll see in Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, and Rancho Santa Margarita works together most weeks, knows each other’s habits, and has pulled each other’s trucks out of Lake Mission Viejo-area parking lots more than once. Marcus built that rule into The Haven Standard in 2015, and every person on this page agreed to it before their first day.

Marcus Deller, Owner
Marcus started Servo Garage Doors Mission Viejo in 2015 after years of watching garage door companies quote one number over the phone and bill another after the work. He wrote The Haven Standard to fix that, and Clause 1, the written price before work starts, is the rule he checks personally on random jobs. Marcus still rides along on complex door replacements in Mission Viejo when the spring torque calculation is tight, mostly because he enjoys the math. When he’s not working, he’s coaching his son’s flag football team at Florence Joyner Olympiad Park. If you call and hear someone say “measure twice, invoice once,” that’s him.
Sam R., Lead Technician
Sam has been with Servo since 2017 and handles the bulk of torsion spring replacements and emergency calls across South Orange County. He’s certified on LiftMaster and Chamberlain wall-mount openers, which matters when a side-mounted unit on a high-lift track starts throwing limit errors at 9 p.m. Sam keeps a torque wrench calibrated monthly and can tell you the cycle-life rating on a .250 wire spring without looking at a chart. He’s also the guy who calls the customer back after the job, not because policy says so, but because he genuinely wants to know if the door settled. Off the clock, Sam restores old Honda motorcycles and will talk about carburetors longer than anyone asked.

She’s our go-to for custom glass panel sizing and steel-backed doors on west-facing garages, where the afternoon heat in August can warp a cheaper door within two summers. Dana handles the survey and measurement before every install, and she’s the one who photographs the existing frame, the opener position, and the headroom clearance so the written scope lists every line item before the order goes in. She got into this trade after helping her dad replace their own garage door in high school and never left. Weekends, she’s hiking Aliso and Wood Canyons with a very opinionated rescue terrier.

He’s been with Servo for two years and splits his time between the dispatch desk and riding along with Sam on repair calls, learning spring ratings, cable routing, and opener logic board diagnostics. Tommy is the reason your emergency call gets a real person, not a recording, and he’ll tell you honestly if a door can wait until morning. He’s a Mission Viejo native, went to Capistrano Valley High, and knows every shortcut around the 5 and the 241, which matters when your door is off its track and you need someone fast.
